About
LicenseGo is an online shop selling licences for desktop software, delivered by email.
The idea is a plain one. Someone needs a tool — something to edit a PDF, convert a video, keep a backup, manage passwords — and wants to buy the licence for it without a subscription, a sales call, or an hour of comparison. This shop is meant to make that a short errand.
What we sell
Licences for software published by other companies, arranged across five categories:
- PDF Tools — editing, converting and compressing documents.
- Media & Video — converting footage between formats and recording the screen.
- System Utilities — backups, disk management and cleaning up a cluttered machine.
- Security & Privacy — password management and file encryption.
- Productivity — keeping files in step across machines and keeping a copy of your mail.
We are a retailer of these licences rather than the publisher of the software. The licence itself is granted by whoever writes the program, on their terms; what we do is sell you a valid key for it and help when that key gives trouble.
How buying here works
- Nothing is shipped. Your licence key and download link are emailed to you once the order is confirmed, normally within a few minutes.
- The listing tells you what you are getting. How many devices a licence covers, and whether it expires, is written on the product page rather than buried in a footnote.
- Payment is handled by a payment provider, on their systems. This site never sees or stores your card details.
- If a key fails, that is our problem to fix. We will replace it, and if it cannot be replaced you get your money back. The Refund and Returns Policy sets out where the line falls.
How we would rather do it
Describe the product accurately, including what it does not do. Answer a question before the sale rather than argue about it afterwards. Say plainly when something cannot be refunded, so that nobody finds out at the worst moment.
If you are weighing up two editions and cannot tell them apart, ask us on the contact page. Pointing you at the cheaper one that does the job is a better outcome than selling you the other.
