Terms and Conditions

Draft — pending company details. These terms are not finished and are not yet binding. Every value in square brackets — [REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], [GSTIN], [JURISDICTION], [SUPPORT EMAIL], [PHONE] — is a placeholder that the business owner must replace with the real registered details before this page goes into use.

These terms cover your use of licensego.net and anything you buy from it. By placing an order you accept them, so it is worth reading the sections on delivery, licences and liability before you check out.

Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by [REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], company registration number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], GSTIN [GSTIN]. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that business, and “you” means the person placing the order.

What we sell

We sell licences for software published by other companies. We are a retailer of those licences, not the author of the software.

Two things follow from that, and both matter:

  • The licence that governs how you may use the software is the one granted by the software’s own publisher. Installing or activating it means accepting that publisher’s licence agreement, which is between you and them.
  • What we are responsible for is the sale: getting you a valid key for the product described on the listing, and helping when that key does not work. Features, updates and the behaviour of the software itself are the publisher’s.

Each product page describes what that particular licence covers — how many devices, and whether it runs out. Read it before you buy, and ask us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if anything is unclear.

Orders

An order you place is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm the order and send your licence key, not at the moment the payment screen closes.

We may decline an order. The usual reasons are that a product is no longer available, that the payment could not be verified, that we suspect fraud or resale, or that the listing carried a pricing or description error. If we decline an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

We try hard to keep prices and descriptions correct. If an obvious error slips through — a price that is plainly wrong, for example — we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will tell you and give you the choice of paying the right price or having a full refund.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees. Applicable taxes are charged as required by law and shown before you confirm the order.

Payment is taken through our payment provider. Your card, UPI or banking details are entered on the provider’s systems and are never stored by this site. Your order is released once the payment is confirmed.

Delivery

Delivery is by email to the address on your order, normally within a few minutes of the payment being confirmed. Nothing is shipped physically.

Please make sure the email address on your order is right. If a key goes to a mistyped address we will resend it to the correct one once you tell us, but we cannot retrieve it from wherever it landed.

How you may use a licence

  • Use it within the limits set out on the product page and in the publisher’s own licence agreement.
  • Keep your key to yourself. A key that is published or shared can be blocked by the publisher, and we cannot replace a key that has been lost that way.
  • Licences bought here are for your own use. They are not for resale, and orders placed for resale may be cancelled.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. The short version: if a key fails and we cannot replace it, you get your money back; a key you have already redeemed normally cannot be refunded, because redeeming it uses it up.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is being used for fraud or abuse.

Using this site

Do not try to break into the site, disrupt it, scrape it wholesale, or use it to do anything unlawful. The text, images and layout on this site belong to us or to our suppliers and may not be copied for use elsewhere.

We aim to keep the site available, but we cannot promise it will never be down. Maintenance, hosting problems and faults elsewhere on the internet all happen, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Liability

Where we are at fault, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost data, lost time, or business interruption — arising from the software you licensed through us. Back up your work before installing anything: that is sound practice with any software, from any seller.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
